The SNOW is falling in Oregon!

This is the first post in our McCormack Ski adventures.  We are pre-setting this up for our trip to Germany in February 2009, but figured it would be great to get familiar with Blogger now rather than when we are over seas.  Hopefully next week we will be able to start our ski adventures atop Mt. Hood in Oregon.  We have a little over two months before we trek it to the Bavarian Alps and attempt to ski the very same slopes that professionals will be skiing in the 2011 ski world cup!  A lot needs to be accomplished before we can make it confidently down one of the black diamonds in Bavaria.  We need to get our legs and stamina into great shape, our ski's need a wax job, and our German speaking skills need a brushing up!  Lots to do, and I will be sure to journal our fun times leading up to Germany here, as well as our time spent there as well!
